(3) If you have not studied Statistics or Probability in your graduation no need to take stress of that. (4) It would be better if you go with a genuine question prepared that you want to ask the interviewer at the last, instead of making a random question there. [After all last impression can add some brownie points].

Work-ex / profile questions

Use of statistics in my job. Though in my role, it was not used directly, same was conveyed to them.

Maths & statistics questions

They asked about my course done during IIT on probability and statistics. I revised so I told the topic. They asked one question on hypothesis testing, gave me situation of covid medicine, asked how will you test this statistically. Don't remember exact question, but it was based on t-test. Specify your assumptions to them. One more question was prove mean of sum of 2 poison distribution is sum of it's mean. Since I already done UG course on probability, hence these questions were asked.

Coding / ML questions

Since I had done ML course in B.Tech., they asked some basic questions. I told them I read about time series, so he asked about ARMA models. Then some basic difference between logistic and linear regression. And asked what other classifier models are there.

GK & current affairs questions

None

Logical reasoning / puzzles

Asked about my hobbies. Other than that, since I already told them I have background in time series, ML and probability, my interview was on that.

Tips for aspirants

You can drive your interview in your introduction. Give them hints of topics you want them to ask from in your introduction and prepare them well.

Tips for aspirants

Interview is a lot about what panel you get and also your luck. Prioritize maximizing the written exam score so that you have a cushion and can afford to mess up a bit in the interview and still make it. You need to have your +2 level math concepts rock-solid to ace the written exam, and as for VARC and DILR, some CAT type mocks might help since not a lot of content specifically geared towards PGDBA is available yet. DILR is generally very scoring so you should try to get all correct. For interview, be absolutely confident with whatever work you do, and if you're a fresher, be confident in your undergrad or postgrad course subjects. Try having an idea about how you could incorporate analytics into your work field and why you wanna switch to analytics (if you are switching), and have a concrete understanding of the basics of linear algebra, probability and statistics. And of course, don't forget the general affairs!

(2) For interview get an idea about what you'll speak on in the generic questions. (3) For all others go through the PGDBA aspirants repository of any one year. You'll have enough questions on most of the topics that are asked in the interview. Honestly, go through most of these and you'll be well prepared. (4) Some interviewers do ask what topics you're comfortable in since you are not expected to know everything so you can choose by preparing a subject or following some specific types of world affairs.

(1) Prepare mathematics concepts really well for the written test and for the interview. (2) Do check and attempt the previous years’ question papers. (3) Be honest in the interviews, if you do not know an answer to the question then do mention that explicitly, followed by a request to take an educated guess. (4) Be confident in the interviews. (5) Be prepared to answer ‘Why PGDBA and why not MBA/PGPBA/PHD/MTech/MS?’ – Have your intentions to pursue PGDBA crystal clear. (6) Even if you do not score well in the written test, you still have a chance. You can coverup in the interviews. (I had 87 marks in the online test and the cutoff for general category was 87. I still managed to get into the program by doing well in the interviews. Please note, I also had a decent amount of work experience to bridge the gap.)
